Syftet med Sarasin OekoSar Equity – Global (”fonden”) är att öka värdet av tillgångarna på lång sikt genom internationella aktieinvesteringar. Fonden investerar minst två tredjedelar av sina nettotillgångar i aktier emitterade av företag som på ett betydande sätt bidrar till en ekonomi som är hållbar ur ett miljö- och samhällsperspektiv. Kärnan utgörs av investeringar inom utvalda framtidsinriktade områden som exempelvis renare energi, hälsa, vatten, hållbar konsumtion och hållbara transporter. Investeringsvalet görs huvudsakligen utifrån företagsanalyser och tar även hänsyn till mindre och medelstora företag. Företag med affärsverksamhet som särskilt står i motsats till de etisk-ekologiska kraven (t.ex. produktion av kärnenergi eller vapen) kan uteslutas.

Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors, Alex was a fund manager with Sarasin & Partners in London where he managed a selection of thematically and sustainability-focused global equity funds.
