Syftet med Sarasin GlobalSar – Balanced (EUR) (”fonden”) är att öka värdet på tillgångarna på lång sikt och samtidigt upprätthålla en optimal riskspridning genom internationella investeringar i aktier och skuldförbindelser. Skuldförbindelserna kan vara utfärdade av stater, företag eller andra organisationer. Fondens referensvaluta är euro (EUR). Det innebär att en optimering av det beräknade investeringsresultatet i euro eftersträvas. Investeringarna kan dock även komma att göras i andra valutor än euro.
